We had a giant tree in the backyard that had about 5 large trees growing out of the one huge stump, during a storm one huge section of the tree fell. I knew it was dangerous for our kids and had seen Kevin (Alex’s) reviews and all of his videos of his work on Facebook. After reading the reviews I felt confident that he would be perfect for the job. I messaged him and he came out the next day to do a quote. Not only did he take care of the giant tree but he also said they could take care of all of the weeds/small trees/honeysuckle going along our back and side fence lines. The lady who lived here before us was in a gardening club and I have not been able to keep up with all of her plants in the backyard. Kevin (Alex) and his team gave us an amazing price to get it all cleaned up, came out, even in the middle of tornado weather, they didn’t cancel on me, got it done in between the storms, put mats down for my car and their equipment to protect the yard, they used heavy duty, professional equipment, meaning they got a huge job done in a matter of hours, they got here at 8:30am and were gone by 2pm. I was shocked at how quick these guys worked. Not only did they get the job done, but they also cleaned up just as well, there were hardly any wood chips left behind and we are sooooo excited to have a huge open backyard. There is so much space now! We can’t wait to get started on landscaping now that all of the hard stuff is done. Thank you guys for making our backyard manageable, we are so grateful!! Our 6 month-old kitten got stuck in a 60 feet high in an 100 feet high tree. I called multiple different people that could not offer help, but as soon as I got in contact with Kevin he was extremely nice and helpful, even though he was on Vacation. We had our trees pruned and some removed last fall and this company did a beyond excellent job. Everything from the initial consult, to communication before, during and after the job, and the fair price was beyond compare. They were careful to protect our property, were super friendly and explained everything thoroughly, and did not stop until they had everything cleaned up perfectly and were satisfied with a job well done. The trees they removed were absolutely a necessary removal and when the remnants of a hurricane hit our area the next day, I couldn’t be more happy that we trusted their advice for removal. If those trees had remained during that storm, we would have absolutely had property damage. This company has all 5 star reviews for a reason. Kevin and his crew did a large scale residential project for us yesterday. The job included removal of 8 mature Bradford pears, a big dead pine along with some dead ash trees. They also cleared out fallen dead trees on our property. They are the hardest working crew I’ve seen in a long time…tree ninjas! They were courteous and efficient. A great team. I wanted a limb removed that was hanging over my garage. Kevin gave me a very fair estimate and timeline for completion. We had a huge tree that was ready to fall at anytime. When I called to see if they could look at the tree they said it would be 4-5 weeks out. I told them I couldn’t wait that long so I was still looking. They showed up the next day anyway to look at the tree. They immediately went into “emergency mode” when they saw how bad the tree was and said they would take it down that afternoon. The price was very reasonable and in less than 2 hours they had it down (between fence posts with no damage) cut up and limbs chipped and the area was immaculate after they were done. I hired another company a few years back and although they did an OK job, now I know what an amazing job looks like. These guys are extremely professional, work quickly and efficiently, very reasonably priced, and pay attention to detail. They did a wonderful job of cleaning everything up after they were done. It was a very muddy, wet day and the precautions that they took protected my yard from damage. I have never seen such a great job on the stump grinding. You can’t even tell a tree was there. If I could give Anstaett Tree more than 5 stars I would! Can’t say enough how impressed we were with Alex and his crew. From his quick response to our inquiry, stopping by the same day to look at our trees and giving us a quote, Alex gave us his honest opinion about a tree we had originally only wanted a limp removed. Informed us the tree was in bad shape and in danger of hitting our house. Turns out he was correct, tree was almost completely rotted inside and it was a matter of time before it most likely fell on our deck and house. Alex was in constant contact with us as weather didn’t cooperate for our original date, called to come and check the wetness of our yard before deciding on another date to do the work as to make sure his equipment wouldn’t tear up the yard. Showed up on time, got to work immediately, never stopped working unless it was to inform us of what they were doing, all 3 of them worked hard for 7 hours taking down 3 large trees, cleaning everything ( which in itself was a relief to us) Would definitely recommend them for any tree services you may need. Wow, this company was a great choice for my tree removal and pruning. They showed up on time and the crew was great. All 5 of them worked hard for almost 8 hours without a break. They took down tree after tree without any problems ( they took down 5 trees plus alot of trimming). I'm going to have them back next year for some trimming on some other trees. Kevin Anstaett and his crew were the best. I've worked with several other "tree services" in the area but have never worked with one as knowledgeable as Anstaetts. They were impeccable with communication, promptness, professionalism, and pride in their work. Kevin knows many people in the industry and never tried to fool me with answers where he felt I needed a different person for the job. He and his team came and cut down, chipped, removed 9 trees, and pruned 4 other trees in 4 hours flat. As for the health and care of my remaining trees, he gave very good advice but recommended another professional who could diagnose and treat them more cost-effectively than he could. Anstaetts Tree Service was a Great company to get our tree removal and pruning/trimming completed. Kevin was professional, easy to work with and his communication was great. He called shortly after I reached out for an estimate and was at our house the next day. He was very upfront, helpful, open and honest about everything. We had some weather come up the day we were scheduled for our project. He reached out several days ahead to communicate and check in about the plan if weather would keep them from being able to come out. He checked in the morning of and was quick to reschedule because the weather was not safe for him and his crew. He was out 2 days later and punctual. He checked in to ensure we were still on the same page and was able to add an additional tree take down that we hadn’t originally discussed. He and his crew got straight to work and worked so hard the whole time. They were all very nice. Clean up looked wonderful. You would have never known all that work had happened! I had big black locust trees - ones with thorns. One branch on a tree was big, very close to my house & was split so they couldn’t tie it off. I just had a great experience with Anstaett's Tree service. They had to remove a 50 ft. tree in a bad spot next to a fence and along side a retaining wall . They even came out on a Sunday morning to do the job. These guys really know their stuff. They removed the tree without even touching the fence or the retaining wall. I can see why all of the reviews were 5 star. When they were done they cleaned up the yard and you couldn't even tell that they were there. This was a job on a farm in Hamersville, Ohio and I live in Dayton Ohio so I had to set this up after seeing the damage to our garage from a tree that fell on. It was holding our farm tractor after just talking to my neighbor who recommended Kevin. Kevin was very thorough. Communicated extremely well with me by phone call and text. Explain to me clearly what had to be done and why it had to be done the way he suggested by bringing a crane to lift a limb off the garage. He was able to also help me by freeing up the roof of the garage with the crane there so we could extract the tractor from the garage and he had to take out a couple extra trees to get the crane in and was very upfront about that so we knew what was going on. Since I was not able to be there, Kevin went the extra mile created a video so I could see what they had to do to get this tree off the garageCleanup was great and he was very easy to follow up with when I had to make payment bymeeting me to get that done. We had a tree that needed to be removed before it fell on something or someone and they were quick to come right over give an estimate and do the work while they were there and on a holiday. Also took down a couple of others that could be a potential hazard on the same trip. Kevin and crew (John, Luke, and Chris if I remember correctly) showed up on time and ready to hit the sawdust. As Kevin was to leave for some much-needed time with family, he and his team made sure everyone was on the same page. When Kevin headed out it was right to work for the crew. We had some storm damage to several trees that had an argument with our outbuilding. The crew was safe, courteous, and efficient. They were there the better part of the day and when they left it was hard to tell anyone had been there (except for the mess being gone). They went above and beyond what was expected. I had a tree from the recent hurricane that was coming up the coast split from the high winds. I called at night and they were out to give me a quote the next morning. The following day they had already set up emergency service to get two trees that were damaged in the storm taken care of And they left my property cleaner than when they got here!! Anything they moved, like trash cans, they put right back before leaving, and were fantastic to work with! We had a pine tree on our property close to the house, a fence, a vehicle, another house. Kevin and his amazing crew got it down and cut up within a half an hour, saved 3 unlucky baby squirrels and took them to a rehab they work with. I cannot say enough good things about Anstaetts tree service. Incredibly talented crew. They came to my house in warren county and removed close to a dozen trees located behind my house that is built into a hillside. Very professional from beginning to end. I was nervous about this job because of the size and scope. I wasn't nervous for long as it became apparent that these guys knew what they were doing and over preformed in every aspect. This company gives nothing but 10/10 professional service! Friendly, professional, punctual. We recently moved into a new home and it had a red oak doing poorly due to previous owners damaging the root system. How do I know this? Because when Anstaetts tree service came out he knew exactly why the tree was dieing and was incredibly knowledgeable and informative in giving his quote. This was an adult red oak tree that was dropping limbs and was threatening a propane tank, shed, and our home. It was sad to see it go but I was happy to have such a good team take care of it. Impressive from first contact to the incredible work Kevin and his men did for us. They took out a large, tall hollow tree on a hillside leaning toward our cabin, a large limb twisted and caught in trees at a 90deg angle near the cabin and several other trees that endangered our cabin in the event of high winds. The crew moved all the logs to an area on our property easy for us to use. Their cleanup is remarkable - there’s literally no gouges in our yard. Today, we had a mammoth oak tree removed by Anstaett's, and it was quite the operation. I received a reco for Anstaetts from 2 neighbors and I'm glad I called them. Kevin and his crew removed 2 trees (40' pine next to house and 30' ash) and trimmed several others for me. During his initial visit to provide a quote, he was polite, informative and most importantly did NOT go for a money grab. I had several Emerald Ash trees that I have been treating for 10+ years which started to shed limbs. I expressed concern to him about them, he carefully looked them over and suggested trimming some of the dead branches vs. cutting the trees down. That's honesty vs. greed!!! He clearly pointed out some landscaping that would unavoidably receive some damage because of the proximity to the trees and absolute need to traverse it with his equipment so I could make an informed decision. He was very communicative prior to the job, providing timing updates based on weather and even sent me pictures of heavy duty pads he would use to further protect my yard from all the rain we had. Kevin and crew were efficient and were careful of my landscaping as much as possible. They cleaned up all the cuttings and even raked our yard better than what it looked like when they showed up. We had 3 very large sweet gum trees removed. They were right along the edge of the road in our subdivision. The team from Anstaett treated us fairly and quickly! They started at 8 AM and all tress were cut down and hauled away by 12:30! They not only cleaned our yard up but the surrounding neighbors yards, street and sidewalks as well. This includes all of the sweet gums that had fallen all over. The team was knowledgeable and experienced. Every tree went exactly as they planned for it to fall. There have been other companies out and none of the others could tell what kind of tree is in our front yard because it's bare right now. This is the first company that could tell us what it is. Kevin and his crew did an outstanding job. Kevin responded to my text request very quickly and was willing to come over and give me an estimate sooner than I was ready. He was able to fit this non-emergency job into his schedule 11 days later (Thanksgiving fell in the middle of this.) It was s a tricky job due to the location of the tree which wasn’t accessible for crane use. Safety was obviously a concern of theirs, not only for themselves but also my property. We were impressed with Anstaetts Tree Service. Kevin came to our house the same day I asked about getting an estimate, and we were scheduled a week later. They even showed up a few minutes early on the day of the job. Kevin and his crew are friendly, knowledgeable, organized, accomodating, and flexible with changing plans during the job. They even dropped a scary, unsafe tree that wasn't in the plan, before they finished for the day. Kevin moved about 50 railroad ties for us with his ditch witch, and if there was a moment between trees or moving to a different area, Chris was using a leaf blower to clean up the leaves in the yard. Kevin and crew (John, Luke, and Chris if I remember correctly) showed up on time and ready to hit the sawdust. As Kevin was to leave for some much-needed time with family, he and his team made sure everyone was on the same page. When Kevin headed out it was right to work for the crew. We had some storm damage to several trees that had an argument with our outbuilding. The crew was safe, courteous, and efficient. They were there the better part of the day and when they left it was hard to tell anyone had been there (except for the mess being gone). They went above and beyond what was expected. I recently had 7 trees of various sizes and heights removed. I am 110% satisfied with the work. All debris was removed which was a great benefit. I had a rather large pine tree by the house which had grown into a neighboring pine. This caused the neighboring pine to develop a lot of dead or dying branches. Not only did they take down the tree close to the house, but they removed the dead branches off the neighboring pine, resulting in a much nicer appearance overall. I had a rather large pine tree by the house which had grown into a neighboring pine. This caused the neighboring pine to develop a lot of dead or dying branches. Not only did they take down the tree close to the house, but they removed the dead branches off the neighboring pine, resulting in a much nicer appearance overall. Anstaett’s Tree Service took a huge water maple down in our back yard that had a very large inclusion at the base of the trunk. He mentioned that it was eventually going to cause a problem and could possibly cause a threat of a huge lead to fall on our house. When grinding one of our stumps he discovered a wasp nest. He put on his bee suite and got the job done. He let me know there was a nest there after he already finished the job. Respond to my request for an estimate very promptly. Came to my home the same day and provided estimate. The crew worked together and removed a 65’ tree situated between two houses that also involve power lines. It was amazing to watch them climb the tree and remove limbs and large branches and then fell the tree flawlessly. The other tree was trimmed and thinned and has never looked so good. I found Anstaetts Tree Service after my husband recently passed away. I did not know what trees needed to come down, trimmed or had disease. I was unsure about what exactly I needed from them. I knew I needed several of the trees removed. I was grieving my husband, crying, just being overwhelmed with everything that had to be done with the estate. I was a mess. I called them and spoke with Alex (Kevin). Very professional, and very knowledgeable about being an arborist. He came out and gave me an estimate. For all the work he was going to do, I got a very reasonable quote. I was worried about my backyard being so wet and the weather predicted more rain. Alex assured me they wouldn't tear my yard up. The day before Alex was to start work, I had a family emergency and was not going to be able to be home, so I called to reschedule my appointment. Alex talked to me about the job, and I agreed to keep the appointment. He explained they had large mats that could be put down to drive on. He worked with me so I didn't have to be home, and I could take care of the family emergency, which was making funeral arrangements for a family member. He assured me he would take care of it. He said he would be at the job at 8:15 am. Well, it was 8:17 am. LOL I was very nervous about not being there, what if something happened? My mind was everywhere that day. I came home with the biggest surprise. I was stunned and started to cry. Alex had completed the job. He took 6 trees down, ground all stumps, cut a large tree that was done from a previous storm plus made my weeping cherry look alive and shaped to look like a weeping cherry. My willow tree had been trimmed and shaped as well. He took out some bushes and other than the chipped wood from the stump grinders the yard was all cleaned up. The brush was all gone, no wood was left lying around, the yard had been raked from the grinding stumps debris, and dirt all raked and leveled up. To my surprise there were no ruts in my yard, I was astonished at how these mats worked. I had called other tree service but they didn't show up to give an estimate. As most of us know customer service ratings are falling fast. From the time I made the call to Alex, he was able to offer me advice on what he thought should be done, yet he never pressured me. He was able to answer my questions. I had Quality Service during this whole journey with Anstaetts. His crew of guys that work for him were all courteous. Clean clothes and not on their cell phones. If you need a tree service give Anstaetts a try! He has very nice equipment, trucks, and the latest tools needed to do the job correctly. The way he keeps his trucks and equipment is a reflection of him and his company, you don't have to do a thing once the guys get there, they do it. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that was done for me. Alex is a special person to me. He took time to talk to me when I needed someone because of my husband's passing and my pain. He treated me with so much kindness and compassion and kept assuring me he would take care of the job. He did exactly what he had stated to me. Cheaper than everyone else and I was amazed that they were setup removed a birch tree and 3 70 ft oaks in like 5 hrs with no debris left behind that’s right like 5 hrs of work and they were all gone.
